In general lifting heavy things is known to not only improve muscle function and shape, but can also have a very beneficial effect on insulin sensitivity, visceral fat, blood pressure, cholesterol (both kinds), triglycerides, bone mineral density and cardiovascular health and it's also badass. Learn to properly lift and carry. You will carry anything and everything from wreck bags, filled buckets, sandbags, kettle bells, weights and more.
Want to do more pull ups? This is the class. Increase strength using those push and pull muscles. Typically push exercises include those that target the chest, shoulders, triceps, and some of the legs. Pulling exercises typically include the biceps, forearms, and a multitude of back muscles. All of this will help you get across obstacles with more ease.
